Where and when

VisitScotland Connect 2027 will be taking place at the SEC – Scottish Event Campus, Glasgow on:

• Wednesday 14 April 2027 from 9am - 5pm
• Thursday 15 April 2027 from 9am – 4pm

How to apply

Application links can be found on the homepage of the website and all applications are subject to approval by VisitScotland. We aim to approve applications within five working days.

Format

• the event follows a workshop-style format, with suppliers meeting buyers in pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings.
• every meeting is scheduled to last 12 minutes with a 3 minute gap in between for buyers to move to their next supplier table.
• a number of unscheduled appointment opportunities will be available throughout the workshop days. During these unscheduled meeting time slots, buyers can meet with suppliers at their meeting table on a first come first served basis without prior arrangements. You will not be able to pre-book these meetings.
• breaks have been included throughout the event for your comfort. Light lunch, teas and coffees are available as part of your attendance.
• if you are attending VisitScotland Connect 2027, you have the option of joining the VisitScotland Connect Dinner on Wednesday 15 April.
• more information including a full VisitScotland Connect 2027 event programme and the attendee event app will be shared with all registered buyers and suppliers in the lead up to the event

Venue Logistics

• access to power sockets is not available to purchase, we recommend suppliers with meeting tables source their own portable power banks. A limited number of charging lockers onsite may be used on first come first serve basis free of charge.
• there is public Wi-Fi available and there is also the option to purchase a Wi-Fi package directly with the SEC. We would recommend that businesses download any content onto devices ahead of time to mitigate any issues with Wi-Fi connection.

FAM Trips

• as part of VisitScotland Connect 2027 we organise a familiarisation trip (fam trip) programme that will be offered to eligible buyers, these offer the opportunity for businesses to showcase their travel trade experiences on location. Suppliers are welcome to note their interest in becoming a fam trip host as part of the event application.
